We saw the new Roman Villa a little while before the Channel 4 documentary was aired – “Was that there last time we came this way?…”

An afternoon at the RAF Museum. We’ve been before – but the last time was perhaps 17 years ago. It’s changed a bit! Most impressive – free admission too.

The weather has been dull and grey for days – ever since the Cardiff trip. Today was a much better prospect – we paid a visit to the ruinous Witley Court, in Worcestershire. We may have to go again in summer, when the fountains are in operation.
The interior of the church next door is amazing…

A National Trust property near Worcester. The park was Capability Brown’s first landscape design, and Croome Court’s most recent occupants were the Hare Krishnas.
