Oswestry and Llanymynech

Dodging the rain in western Shropshire – a very brief visit to the Cambrian Railways at Oswestry, and (via Blodwell Junction – no, it’s not on the way) a quick exploration of part of the Limeworks Heritage Area at Llanymynech. Must go again…

    Interesting collection of pictures. The Llanymynech area is well worth exploring above the village as well. I think you can walk up one of the former inclines from the canal area to the quarry. The views from the top by the golf course are marvellous on a clear day.
