After lunch in Ludlow…

…we’re stretching our legs, trying to make the most of the sunshine – though as ever, the clouds are being uncooperative. A kingfisher is busy in the Teme – for a few moments, he’s tantalisingly close (but not close enough…) – then he’s away downstream and out of sight.

Beautiful photos of a place I used to stay every year in autumn with a good friend. It’s been four almost five yrs, now since I have been able to return and my friend now moved away . I have many cherished memories however of Ludlow and surrounds . It’s always a joy to see it again.

  2. J > Lovely photos – bringing back very fond memories of living near Ludlow and going there to shop. A gem of a town! I wonder what you’d come up with for Bishop’s Castle – another South Shropshire gem.
