The Brigg

Flamborough Head is an obvious feature of the east coast map; just a few miles further north is a lesser promontory. Flamborough’s cliffs are white chalk; Filey’s Brigg is mud… The popular walk from Filey to the Brigg is an easy stroll, on this occasion after a false start – a passing shower caused a diversion to the café…

    1. I suspect the Brigg’s mud cliffs change every time there’s a storm… The doors belong to a line of beach huts, beside the southernmost part of the promenade.

      1. The Brigg certainly is dynamic. Makes sense that these huts are on the southern edge of the front. We would rarely go further south than the crazy golf. Mostly just going down the Ravine and then onto cobble landing and the beach.

        Many thanks!
