This locality wasn’t even ‘little known’ to me rather unknown so grateful to you for depicting what is there – a little part of Shropshire I hadn’t heard of
Hi Geoff, you have found a favourite place of mine. My parents first took me to Badger Dingle over 60 years ago and Jen and I still go there. Have walked and investigated its walkways over the years and taken visitors/friends from different parts of the world there on numerous occasions. Your photographs do it justice – a timely reminder to visit again. By the way there were terrapins in the big pool by the thatched house below the church. often used to see then sunning themselves on the log in the pool.
If I’d known about the terrapins I’d have looked more closely – I’ll have to go back and have another look…
