Does anyone know what is happening to the cooling towers Geoff ? If it’s demolition doubt that outfit who were working at Didcot will get the contract.
Even when there’s a will to keep them they don’t always survive – I remember those two beside the M1 Tinsley Viaduct were seen as an iconic Sheffield landmark. There were going to stay after being taken out of use but were eventually demolished
