Another fine picture. With next to no modern structures in view I wonder how different this is to what the Cornovii tribe people would have seen living in their hill fort ? Probably more trees and no agriculture down below. Not sure whether they would have seen snow. The prevailing opinion used to be that it was much warmer in the Iron Age.
Not sure about Iron Age weather; it was very pleasant out of the wind, down behind the rocks to my left – perfect for a (very small) refreshment break.

Pleased you were able to find a sheltered spot out of that chilling wind. Must have felt like walking out of a deep freeze into a sauna !
