Hadn’t heard of Para Handy until he got a mention on a Forth and Clyde Canal episode of ‘Celebrity Britain by Barge’ recently. Pete Waterman is a big fan of the stories apparently.
Sounds like the tales are heavily laced with Gaelic words then. I’ve heard it said that if you kill a midge another three thousand come to it’s funeral !
